What we collect in Thrissur

Thrissur's colleges, hospitals and training institutions replace equipment on a cycle, and when they do it comes in quantity — a lab of desktops, a store room of monitors nobody has switched on in five years, boxes of cables and UPS units. That is straightforward work and we would rather do one large collection than ten small ones.

Hospitals and anything holding patient records get the same drive-destruction treatment as corporate clients, with a certificate for every drive, because the obligation there is not something to take on trust.

Household pickups across the district are welcome as well. Bulk we will come for anywhere; for a single small item we may hold it until we are next in the area, and we will say so upfront.

How it works

You book with a phone number and an address — no account needed. We confirm a day, come to you, and weigh everything in front of you on a calibrated scale and show you the category, weight and rate. For a household or office load you are paid at the door. A few small items sometimes go by courier instead; then we weigh them at our office and pay you online.

If it does not work any more, that is fine. Most of what we collect is broken. Working condition changes what it is worth, not whether we will take it.

Where it goes afterwards

Everything we collect in Thrissur is delivered to Sahya Solutions, our sister concern in Idukki — CPCB Recycler ID 5238, authorised by the Kerala State Pollution Control Board to dismantle and recycle 14,965 tonnes a year. Nothing goes to landfill and nothing is stripped informally.
